Mechanical and Piping Technical Manager

Are you an experienced Manager / Lead Mechanical or Piping Engineer? Are you looking for the security that a staff job would bring?

The Role

 
You will be expected to be the functional lead on projects up to £100 million, leading a team of up to 30 engineers. In addition you will:

Lead a team of more junior engineers in the engineering delivery of projects to time, cost and quality and in addition support the discipline manager in aspects of running the department
 
Be  responsible for leading functional input to own projects, including where relevant leading the input of other (possibly multidisciplinary) engineers and subcontractors, to ensure engineering delivery meets scope, time, cost and quality
 
Proactively generate value adding options within projects to offer to clients to improve both the chance of winning work and satisfaction with completed and ongoing work
 
The Person:


Professionally qualified (eg Chartered) Engineer
 
Substantial relevant experience, typically at least 10 years experience
 
Team leadership capability
