Reliability Engineer Oil and Gas Aberdeen Excellent position for an experienced degree qualified Oil and Gas Reliability Engineer with a good understanding of Reliability Modelling techniques, RCM, FMEA and criticality techniques in the selection and use of Maintenance. Applicants will only be considered with significant oil and gas related experience particularly in North Sea assets. You should have a broad understanding of maintaining Rotating Machines, Instruments, or Electrical equipment. I am looking for experienced maintenance engineers with UK knowledge in the operation and troubleshooting of gas turbines/compressors/engines/pump/motors. The ideal person would also have been offshore in UK waters in the past for inspection/testing/maintenance activities, and would have undertaken performance monitoring work in relation to plant-critical rotating equipment. Analysis of equipment performance, historical trend analysis. Root Cause Analysis and facilitation Knowledge of various reliability modelling techniques and their application Condition Based Maintenance (Vibration/Oil Analysis/Thermography etc) experience desirable Understanding of RCM, FMEA, FMECA, RBI, SIL. Knowledge of criticality assessment and interpretation of results Carrying out RCAs and facilitation skills Statistical analysis of performance and equipment history CMMS (Maximo) awareness, ideally working knowledge A solid working knowledge of rotating equipment, including spares and analysis Maintain the required technical quality of work Ensure that work output complies with the relevant internal procedures and industry standards Ensure as far as practically possible all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule Participate as necessary in discussions with Client and visit offshore or OEM when necessary duties.
