E&I Reliability Engineer Oil & Gas Location: Aberdeen Excellent position for an experienced degree qualified Electrical and Instrumentation Oil & Gas Maintenance Reliability Engineer with a good understanding of Reliability Modelling techniques, RCM, FMEA and criticality techniques in the selection and use of Maintenance. Applicants will only be considered with significant oil and gas related experience particularly in North Sea assets. You should have a broad understanding of condition based maintenance maintaining Instruments, or Electrical equipment in offshore UK waters. The Company This is a corporate position with a world leading global energy services provider offering interesting and challenging work in the Oil & Gas industry The Person You will be at least HNC qualified in Electrical or Instrumentation Evidence of a broad understanding of condition based maintenance involving maintaining Instrumentation or Electrical equipment. Analysis of equipment performance, historical trend analysis. Root Cause Analysis and facilitation Knowledge of various reliability modelling techniques and their application Condition Based Maintenance (Vibration/Oil Analysis/Thermography etc) experience desirable Understanding of RCM, FMEA and CMMS Knowledge of criticality assessment and interpretation of results Carrying out RCAs and facilitation skills Statistical analysis of performance and equipment history CMMS (Maximo) awareness, ideally working knowledge A solid working knowledge of rotating equipment, including spares and analysis Maintain the required technical quality of work Ensure that work output complies with the relevant internal procedures and industry standards Ensure as far as practically possible all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule Participate as necessary in discussions with Client and visit offshore or OEM when necessary Reporting to Reliability Team Leader when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties.
